Current Position

Senior Consultant in Plastic Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgery, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. 

Training & Operative Skill 

Oral Cancers – Resections and Reconstruction. Micro vascular surgery Replacement & Free tissue transfers. Pedicled and myocutaneous flaps. Cleft lip and palate surgery, elective and emergency hand surgery, burns and post burn reconstructions. 

Maxillo – facial  injuries  and temporomandibular joint deformities, upper and lower limb defect reconstructions, congenital hand deformities, hypospadias, aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, skin tumours and pressure sores. 

Teaching Experience  

1987 – 89 Teaching Registrar in the Dept. of Surgery at G.R. Medical College students.

Conducted Clinical demonstrations and lectures for under- graduate medical students.

1991 – 93 During M. Chir. Training at PGIMER was responsible for clinical demonstrations and lectures clinical demonstrations and lectures for under – graduate medical students. 

        Research and  Publications   

        Thesis entitled “A clinical & statistical study of congenital gastro -intestinal anomalies” submitted to jiwaji   University in April 1988. 

        Case Report – “ Primary Reconstruction by Finger Transposition in a Mutilating Hand Injury” Vol. 35, No. 1, Jan 1993. 

        Project in UK

A review of the cosmetic result of patients who have undergone reconstruction of post melanoma excision defects with the modified rhomboid flap. 

    Areas of Interest 

Aesthetic & Body contour surgery, burns and post- burn  deformities, elective and emergency hand surgery, maxillo – facial, cancer, reconstruction surgery and Micro Vascular Surgery, member of the Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon.
