Dr. Ramirez is a member of the Mexican Ophthalmology Counsel, the Ophthalmic Society of Nuevo León, and the Mexican Society of Ophthalmology. He also maintains memberships within the Christus Muguerza organization, including a position on the medical council. In the past year alone, Dr. Ramirez has attended  numerous  academic courses in Ophthalmology, including courses dealing with Phacoemulsification at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, and several other courses dealing with Glaucoma. Most recently, Dr. Ramirez completed a degree in Refractive Surgery at Medical School Tecnológico de Monterrey, in Mexico.
