Dr. Banu Cosar

 C. Banu Cosar completed her education at Hacettepe University and Ankara Numune Research and Training Hospital. She is  associate professor of ophthalmology at Acibadem Eye Center, in Istanbul, Turkey. She is one of Turkey’s top vision-correction specialists. Dr. Cosar has trained many surgeons in the use of the excimer laser and has personally performed more than 10,000 vision-correction surgeries.
Dr. Cosar has published more than 90 articles, abstracts, and chapters in professional journals and books. She has delivered many invited lectures. She is also a reviewer for 2 ophthalmology journals.
She has been interviewed by many television channels and has also been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers in Turkey.
