This involves The Royal London Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital for Children, Basildon & Thurrock Hospitals and Southend General Hospital. I have gained excellent experience in trauma working in London hospital that gave me an exposure to polytrauma patients. It has got an Air Ambulance service that helps in air lifting the polytrauma patients as quickly as possible. As a trauma registrar I often called to help with primary care of severely injured patients and to deal with Orthopaedic injuries. As an ATLS trained surgeon I have gained vast experience in trauma.
I have also gained experience in elective Orthopaedics working in District General Hospitals. Joint replacement is the major part in these hospitals. I have gained huge amount of experience in primary and revision joint replacement surgery. As a registrar I am actively involved in all aspects of patient care. I supervise the training of SHO & HOs and teaching of medical students. I organise teaching programmes and participate in all departmental academic activities.
I have worked in the Royal London Hospital, Bone and Joint Unit that allowed me to obtain valuable experience in advanced primary and revision joint replacement surgery.
