Dr. Mahajan’s exposure to Genitosurgery began at Nair hospital, where he picked
up basic skills in endourology, had exposure in Reconstructive Urology and
Urooncology. He has extensive experience of Endoscopic work including TUR
Prostate, Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy, Ureterorenoscopy, Laparoscopy, among
others.

He also has a vast experience in Management of Infertile patients and Andrological
problems, including application of various microsurgical procedures. In the organ
transplantation field, he has performed many donor nephrectomies and was active
member of the recipient team.

He has assisted in innumerable radical surgeries including radical cystectomies,
radical prostatectomies, neobladders, nephrectomies, TUR of bladder tumors, nerve
sparing and modified template RPLND and formal groin node dissections with
tensor fascia lata flap reconstruction.

1987              MBBS, University of Mumbai
1992              M.S. (General Surgery), University of Mumbai. Dissertation: Use
                  of skin graft in repair of Inguinal Hernia, study of 40 cases.
1995              M. Ch. (Urosurgery), University of Mumbai.
                  Dissertation: Percutaneous Nephrostomy in Obstructive
                  Nephropathy and its role in preservation of renal unit

Honors and Awards:
   - Best Presentation award at Mumbai Urology Society, December 1994.
   - Urodynamic study in Spinal dysrrhaphisum and its role in risk evaluation.
