Wockhardt unveils latest MRI and CT scan facilities

NASHIK, Maharashtra, India: Wockhardt Hospital on Monday inaugurated its latest MRI and CT scan facilities to aid advance tests like Angiography and CRCP spectroscopy here.

The hospital now has a state of art Radiology department that is equipped with all the latest machinery, Dr Shridhar Thakur and Dr Rajesh Jawale told reporters here.

Machines like high resolution 1.5 tesla MRI scan from Siemens, whole body multi slice CT scan will help in performing advance tests like angiography, MRCP spectroscropy, peripheral angiographies, 3D scan of bone at reasonable fees, they said.

This is the one of the first of its kind set up in north Maharashtra. Both facilities are also required for neurosurgery, accidents and some of the other problems. The hospital has invested Rs eight crore to set up modern Radiology department, they added.
