Overview of Panniculectomy

A panniculectomy is a plastic surgery that removes hanging fat and skin from the lower abdomen below the belly button, typically after massive weight loss. The excess skin and fat above the belly button are not removed. The procedure may be performed as a single procedure or combined with a tummy-tuck, depending on the patient's condition.
